Land’s End-John O’Groats, Day 4

A quick 3 miles to Symonds Yat to take in the views, a passing local took our photo and left us with a motivational cheerio message (“…it’s never flat in The Forest, it’s either up or down”) – thanks!

After worrying about Day 3 I ended up having a difficult day with jelly legs.  Martin was also suffering a bit and trying to soften the blow by padding things out …

We cycled through the Forest of Dean and on to Hereford, Leominster and Ludlow before arriving in a really lovely little market town called Much Wenlock, not just a nice place but with the extra benefit of a rather good Indian restaurant :-)
